Since a young age I have enjoyed making things and discovering handmade pieces that inspire me. Here I share some of my projects and ideas. I sometimes demonstrate the different processes I follow within my creative online and in-person workshops.

My Creative Journey

Originally from Sussex, I first trained in fashion and textile design at West Sussex College of Design. I have always been passionate about colour, and during the early part of my career I worked in trend prediction for the fashion industry.

Creativity has remained an important thread throughout my life and has increasingly found its way into my work as a self-development workshop facilitator. I love encouraging others to explore their own creativity and self-expression, particularly those who are sensitive in nature or who may have lost confidence in their creative abilities.

Fascinated by the idea of ‘healing through art and making’, I love to experiment with colour, texture and a variety of materials. My mixed-media pieces have found homes in a range of settings, including natural therapy clinics and schools. I hope my work carries something uplifting, magical and perhaps even transformational — inviting both children and grown-ups to connect with their own imagination and inner world.

Over the years, I have curated exhibitions, organised art festivals and shared my work through fun and engaging pop-up art spaces.

More recently, I have felt myself being drawn back to my roots in textiles. I am beginning to explore how my love of colour, mixed media, printing and stitch might come together in a new body of work — creating pieces that invite the viewer to pause, imagine and explore.
