Let’s Plant Some Seeds Together...
This week, under the gentle, nurturing energy of the Cancer New Moon, I'd love to begin a new weekly tradition for the community we're growing here.
We Grow Together is a gentle gathering of everything that inspires me—nature, colour, creativity, connection, and personal and spiritual growth—shared in one easy-to-enjoy post, delivered safely to your inbox.
Each week I'll gather together something beautiful to brighten the days ahead: perhaps a photograph from the garden, an arty, crafty creation, a seasonal flower, a simple reflection, an idea inspired by colour or creativity, or a conversation with someone whose story encourages us all to live a little more mindfully.
The common thread is growth—not the hurried kind that tells us we should always be doing more, but the quiet, natural growth that unfolds when we pay attention to beauty, curiosity, nature and a sense of childlike wonder.
It feels especially fitting to begin beneath the Cancer New Moon, a time often associated with home, belonging and gentle new beginnings. Like a gardener preparing the soil before sowing seeds, it reminds us to pause, listen to what our hearts truly need, and nurture the parts of ourselves that are ready to grow.
Perhaps this week is simply about making a little more space for rest, kindness, creativity or connection. After all, the smallest seeds often grow into the most beautiful gardens.
If these are the things that nourish you too, I'd love you to join me each week.
Please share the joy...
I'd love this to become a shared space. If you have a story, a photograph, a creative project, or simply a moment that has supported your own growth, I'd be delighted if you'd share it with our community. We really do grow together.
My soul moment this week...
Early one morning I wandered into the patio garden while the air was still cool and quiet. I found myself talking to the meadow as the long grasses swayed gently in the breeze. Some weeks ago, the birds had planted a scattering of vibrant red poppies there, and this morning they seemed more beautiful than ever.
Butterflies danced effortlessly from flower to flower as if celebrating the height of summer. For a few precious moments, time seemed to stand still. What a joy. I felt deeply grateful—not only for the beauty surrounding me, but also for something as simple as the gift of water while so many are experiencing such dry conditions.
The land reminded me to stop, to listen, and to gaze in wonder.
Sometimes that is all our soul asks of us.
Until next week, may you notice the beauty around you, plant a few seeds of your own, and find a soul moment that stays with you.
I look forward to sharing more with you in the weeks to come.
Gabrielle
